After an extensive search and field testing
Water TRAC selected US Fleet Tracking,
www.usft.com as the provider of DCU’s for our process.
Water TRAC will review your fleet and needs to determine which of USFT’s unit is best for your application. We also provide the hardware kits, protective boxes, antennas, or in-cab installation that is required to get your fleet up and running. This typically takes 1hr per truck.
These special data collection units (DCU’s) are linked to the secure
Water TRAC database. The trucking information is merged with pipelined water transfers, frac water volumes, flow-back rates, work-tank volumes, impoundment level calculations, disposed water volumes, to provide the production company a mass balance of their water in a real-time basis.
In the near future
Water TRAC will be providing an optional “Smart Cap” to install on the tanker. This will merge GPS location information, total truck weight, and specific and dynamic volume readings.
